Warranty Provisions and Grounds for Warranty Claims

The Supplier establishes a warranty period for supplied Products that is equal or greater than a warranty period established by Products manufacturer. Warranty terms for certain Product groups are published on the official website of the Supplier: www.europart.ru/docs.

The Supplier accepts warranty liabilities if the following conditions are met:
– replacement of spare parts and accessories, maintenance, including warranty and scheduled maintenance, of motor veficles, construction and agricultural machinery, and other products purchased from the Supplier is performed by trained professionals at designated companies.
– servicing and maintenance equipment is installed and operated by trained professionals and in compliance with instructions of equipment manufacturer; Supplier representative observes installation of the equipment and comissioning work, unless the Supplier decides not to send the representative or the representative fails to arrive at agreed time.

Warranty period does not apply to the following Products:
– Products that went out of order due to violation of warranty provisions, storage, installation, and maintenance regulations set by Products manufacturer;
– Products that are subjected to uncontrolled wear during normal operation, such as: filters, break pads and linings, bushings, driving belts, spark plugs, lamps, vehicle glasses, wiper blades, ignition contacts, fasteners, fittings, plug-in elements, and other similar products.

Activation of a software (hereafter the Software) for a diagnostic equipment (hereafter the Equipment) is performed by a Customer, and requires connection of the Equipment to a vehicle, a unit or a system for which the Equipment is designed. In some cases activation of the Software may require an Internet conection (if required by an activation program). The Supplier provides advice for a Customer on Software activation if necessary.
The fact that a Customer does not have an access to a vehicle, a unit or a system, or does not have an Internet access, and therefore is unable to activate the Software, cannot be construed as a warranty event and/or grounds for a warranty claim to the Supplier.

Requirements for personal computers (hereafter the PCs) and operating systems used with the diagnostic equipment for installation of the Software are published on the official website of the Supplier: www.europart.ru/docs.

If the PCs for the Equipment are obtained from a third party, installation of the Software is performed unaidedly by Customer specialists, who need to have sufficient qualification for this task. Insufficient qualification of Customer specialists and/or use of the PCs and/or operating systems, drivers, and additional software that do not meet the abovementioned requirements may render installation, activation, and correct operation of the Software impossibe, and cannot be construed as a warranty event and/or grounds for a warranty claim to the Supplier.
